Testimonials

"Thanks again for everything - I couldn't have wished for a better teacher.  I was really worried about doing the course or rather, worried about not being able to do the course!  and you made the whole experience a positive one and a fun one."

Cathie (Cartmel)

"First, and most important, a very big thank you again for getting me through the Day Skipper exam.  You are a really excellent teacher and I know I wouldn't have made it without you.  Do please keep in touch and let me know if you are going to run a Yachtmaster course later in the year."

John (Grange Over Sands)

"Many thanks also for all the hard work you put into our education - sometimes I know we all looked a little confused but as I mused to myself whilst walking to work the day after the exam, if that paper had been put in front of me at the outset of the course I would have got nil point! - so we came a long way in a relatively short space of time thanks to your efforts."

Martin (Bowness on Windermere)

"Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed your course.  It was great fun and I think that you went at about the right speed.  Thank you very much."

Simon (Kirby Lonsdale)

"Hi , just thought i would let you know that Sarah and I have just got back from Gibraltor where we planned a passage and sailed to morrocco in a force 7 going 8 knots, wow and we ended up exactly in the right place. After numerous man overboard practices, berthing etc and buying our skipper gin and tequila we both passed and have our certificates !!Both really pleased , thanks for teaching and hope to " bump" into you in morecambe bay!"

Kathryn (Kirby Lonsdale)

"For me, my students make it worthwhile. I think teaching is so rewarding I wish everyone could experience it: a handful of learners; a subject you love; and a clear route through. It's such an immense subject, with planets and geography and maths - it just makes me feel good to teach. "
